Full die-casting housing: IK 08 rating: Dios LED street light approved a solid die-cast IK 08 rated housing on the pole. The solid die-cast aluminum provides the excellent heat dissipation, extending the life of the components inside.

Full IP 66 ingress protection against water & dust (without glue): The modular construction and high-quality silicone gasket deliver reliable IP66 performance over the unit’s lifetime. No glue is used in the construction to prevent any breakdown of the water and dust proof seal. Full IP66 protection insures the best lighting performance and reduces the maintenance cycles to save time and money.

The housing shell under the circuit board was designed to enhance heat transfer and ensure perfect contact the LED board and housing to maximize heat dissipation.
The maximum thermal power to be dissipated by the housing is around 50W. A surface area of > 0.14 m2 ensures enough heat dissipation.
The power compartment is capable of being hinged open and the lid is automatically held open with a positive latching system. Ease of maintenance.

Integrated optical lens improve downward light output ratio to meet 5-7% higher efficiency than other competitors.
Additional ribs on the frame designed to make driver and frame directly touch, which helps to conduct driver’s heat to outside more quickly.

PCB Design and Interface:

A Metal Core Printed Circuit Board (MCPCB) is used to efficiently remove heat from the LED’s and transfer it to the housing to lower the LED’s operating temperature as much as possible. It provides with longer operating life and rigid surface for big boards, optimal thermal dissipation, ease of installation on cooling plate and housing, and reinforced electrical insulation through inside di-electric design.
MCPCB is mounted on the housing using a highly efficient Thermal Interface Material (TIM).TIM provides the robust thermal conductivity and elastic interfaces ensure air free bondage to any urfaces.
